Discovery: Planet Arlington

If you're a Juntonian and you'll be in the DC area over Labor Day weekend, come on out to the World Music Festival from 4-9 pm on Saturday, 1 Sep, on the grounds of the Netherlands Carillon and Iwo Jima Memorial in Rosslyn!

On the music lineup are Oliver Mtukudzi, the top-selling artist in his home country of Zimbabwe, and Eileen Evers, "the future of the Celtic fiddle" and "the Jimi Hendrix of the violin," per "The New York Times" (among other acts from all over the globe!!!!) .

This is a slam-dunk Junto cultural event and a can't-miss for those of us who will be in town! Post replies here on the blog if you'll be around and are interested.
