I watch MSNBC religiously and as an INDEPENDENT I am very concerned that the cable news station is moving over to the left.
At first, I loved Keith Olbermann...but now he is simply a faucet pouring out left-wing rhetoric. Chris Matthews is better...but not by much. I have no issues with these guys hosting shows, but please, let's put someone without bias out as a reporter covering the convention. If these two guys host the Republican Convention, something is wrong!
This is an interesting read about the quarrelling egos at the station. I love Joe Scarborough and find, even as a former GOP Congressman, he is an Independent voice on the network, unlike the aforementioned hosts Olbermann and Matthews.

Dear Junto -
I've been remiss in writing and promise to be more diligent going forward.
As the DEM that I am, Olbermann has pissed me off - and not because of his CLEARLY Democratic bias - but because he is clearly Obama biased. He was ruthless against the Clinton's and I can only conjecture that he's angling to be the White House Press Secretary if Barry makes it in.
Let me say this: MSNBC has clearly gone left; much to my support and interest. It's not worse than the TOTALLY biased Fox News (and I don't really care how "fair and balanced" anyone thinks Fox is - they are not).
And on Scarbourough - although he tries to make himself appear independent (mostly by him reminding people that he's independent), he is not. His choice of words and nuance typically lean conservatively. And you know what? That's his "reporting" and it's ok because I know what I'm going to listen to. Which is why I typically don't - I usually can take about 5 minutes and change the channel (the only thing we agree on is his love for the Red Sox). And funny thing is that this very morning Matthews and Scarborough were butting heads like a Republican and Democrat would on McCain's choice of VEEP. We know where they stand - period.
So none of this should surprise anyone and if you think or want to play the facade that MSNBC and Fox are "truly independent" and don't reflect an opinion, than you are naive.
And that is MY humble opinion to which the Constitution of this INCREDIBLE country of ours entitles me to.
